Cinema night

Just come home from my first movie at cinema. I went with Katja and her coffeegroup friends for a fundraising of a kindergarden to see About Time. It was really good both funny, sad and unpredictable. We got goodiebags contained magazines, candy etc! I also won a prize by my ticket, well it was a packet of cereals as you see on picture below but at least I won hehe. On cinemas here it's popular to eat ice cream as well and the chairs were big and SO confortable! Yep, I will definitely go for a movie soon again. Goodnight

We had one mission: Jessi's friend had been in New Zealand last year and posted a picture of this house so we had to find it. Which we did, it's a cool house and Jess jumped up and down by happiness!

Paihia, Bay of Island: Part I

Home sweet home. Yes, I actually sees this family as home and even if we have great time at our road trips it's always a good feeling to come home.
As I explained in my post before we went up north to Bay of Island and stayed in Paihia (a town part of Bay of Island) for three nights. The hostel had a jacuzzi and it was lovely! Pictures starts from saturday.
Friday: Started at afternoon and there were a bit of traffic up, but not horrible. We stayed at the hostel for some drinks and bathed in the jacuzzi! Well I had soared throat all weekend and now do I have a bad cold by sneezing all time and my nose is horrible.
Saturday: We bought tickets for a food and wine festival in town, which was pretty nice. Perfect weather and really hot so Jess and me went out from the festival after few glasses of wine to look around in Paihia, while Ashley and Jaimee kayaked to a island. Our friends Shoshi, Felicia and Kirsty were also in town (but they camped in tent) so we barbecued at their camping site. Beautiful and fun evening.
Sunday: Jess and me woke up at 7 am to meet the friends from last night for a trip up north as far you can come, which takes about 2 hrs. We overlooked the Pacific and Tasmna Sea clashing, did sand boarding and saw the sunset at 90 Miles Beach. Wonderful day!
Monday: Ashley and Jaimee went home to Auckland the day before because Ashley was sick, poor her! Jess and I did kayaking and I swam for the first time in the sea. FREEZING cold, but still refreshing and I bet the summer will be perfect. After that we went to Russels (a town at the other side of sea than Paihia) by ferry and had lunch there. One weird thing that happened: haha our friend Georgi had been living at the same hostel from saturday without seen her so we suddenly bumped in to her before kayaking.
